Plan of Action

An RI&E without follow-up is a paper tiger. We turn your risks into a workable improvement plan that genuinely makes your organisation safer.

Plan of Action

The plan of action is the culmination of the RI&E: this is where you translate the identified risks into concrete measures. It describes what will happen, who is responsible, when it must be completed and how you will assess the result.

A good plan of action is realistic and broadly supported. Omnibus Academy helps you prioritise, formulate measures according to the occupational hygiene strategy and monitor progress, so that improvements actually take hold on the shop floor.

In het kort

  • Legally required component of the RI&E
  • Prioritised measures with owners and deadlines
  • Based on the occupational hygiene strategy
  • Including progress monitoring

Why a strong plan of action matters

The Arbowet (Dutch Working Conditions Act) requires you not only to carry out an RI&E, but also to draw up a plan of action describing how and when you will address the risks. The Netherlands Labour Authority actively checks this.

But its importance goes beyond compliance: a clear plan prevents good intentions from fizzling out. It makes safety measurable and manageable and gives management and the works council insight into progress.

Werkwijze

Our approach

From prioritisation to embedding — a practical working method that fits the size and culture of your organisation.

01

Prioritise

We rank the risks from the RI&E by urgency and impact, so that the most important issues are tackled first.

02

Determine measures

For each risk we select the most effective measure according to the occupational hygiene strategy (source, collective, individual, PPE).

03

Owners & planning

We link every measure to a responsible person and a realistic completion date.

04

Embedding & monitoring

We set up progress monitoring and periodically evaluate whether measures are having the intended effect.
